The dress up game was a game designed to help girls decide what costume they would where to a sleepover party.

At School 17
Researchers came across six girls talking animatedly in while sitting at a picnic table. When asked what they were doing, they told researchers that they were having a sleep-over costume party the following night and were deciding on who should dress up as what. Each 'player' wrote down three different costumes on three different pieces of paper and folded them up so they were secret. Then all of the pieces of paper were placed in a cup, and each girl pulled out three pieces of paper each.
Thus each girl could choose one out of three things they could dress up as the following night.
Some of the choices were a disco dancer, gypsy, clown or movie star
