Hand and Finger Play and Physical Play

Sim, Sim, Sah Version 1 was observed being played at the back area of the school grounds on a painted square comprised of smaller squares numbered 1 to 16. It was played by 4 girls of Asian background and was form of Paper, Rock Scissors. The girls played as two pairs opposing one another. The chant in lieu of 'paper, rock, scissors' was "Sim, Sim, Sah." The participants seem to move around the game area in a designated way according to the result of the hand actions and the chant of "sim, sim, sah". The game was played quickly and with much animation.
