Amongst tree roots, girls have a collection of commercial 'Little Pet Shop' plastic toys and accessories: dogs with over-sized heads and huge eyes, pet beds, a blender, a pool and a swing. Each child chooses an animal and speaks as that animal in a baby voice. They swing, sleep, eat and swim.
