The girls used a traditional playground clapping pattern, rather than the simple clapping movements used when this rhyme is played with babies.

And put it in the oven for baby and me.

This game was not observed, but demonstrated during discussion with a group of girls. One of the girls said that she learned this rhyme from her older sister, who is 14.
