The idea is to entice another student to sit on the middle bar of the bannister, each grab one leg and run down the stairs. The victim would then be hurt by direct connection with the bottom upright of the bar bannister.
This game was clearly against the rules. The children told the fieldworkers about it in confidence and with a little embarrassment.
