Dramatic Play and Play With Toys

This group of boys were playing with the Po figures from the film Kung Fu Panda. They became very self conscious when they noticed that they were being observed. After I spoke with them asking them to tell me what they were playing, they relaxed and were very animated in retelling the parts of the film they thought were good. They then began to play, re-enacting those parts. They were so intent they didn't hear the bell ring.
