Card or Board Game Pick up Sticks

Functions
Board Game, Play with Equipment/Props and Quiet Play

While not a board game - pick up sticks is reasonably charaterized as one. Commercially available 'sticks' are collected into a bundle and dispersed by holding
them upright and then letting them go. The aim of each player is to pick up as many sticks as possible without touching/moving
any of the surrounding sticks. The child with the most sticks at the end of the game is the winner.

Children congregate in the library during the transition between the dry and wet season (mango madness) due to the big increase in heat/humidity. Most find it too hot to play games in the playground.
