Hunt the Rock is a hiding game.

Girls
Age: 8-9
One girl chooses a small rock with distinctive markings or shape and shows it to the other girl. The second girl must close her eyes while the first girl hides the rock somewhere in the area. When she is ready, the second girl must try to find the rock, guided by the first girl's words which indicate whether she is looking in the right place, is getting closer to the rock or is moving further away. The words they use are:
- If moving away from the rock: cool, cold, freezing, dead! (Dead means you are so cold you are going to die.)
- If moving towards the rock: warm, hot, boiling! (Boiling means you are practically standing on it.)
